LASWERK brings together musicians from all corners of the country and across the musical landscape for a series of one-night-only concert evenings in Bootstraat. Each edition starts from a unique line-up, created for that specific moment. What emerges, emerges here and now. No repetition, no retakes. Just sound, intuition and encounter.
Not a traditional concert, but an artistic pressure cooker. Curator and musician Bert Peyffers invites a diverse group of artists who come together in Bootstraat to write, rehearse and perform in a single day. There is no fixed setlist and no predefined path. Curiosity, experimentation and listening form the starting point. Genres collide, ideas merge and music takes shape in real time.
Since 2026, LASWERK has expanded with a podcast. In between the creation process and the show, the musicians are invited into the podcast studio for an open conversation about their experiences of the day. How did they begin? Which ideas and themes emerged? Which instruments did they bring, and how do they influence each other in such an intense collaboration? A snapshot of music in the making, somewhere between rehearsal and performance.
