We don't treat classical music like porcelain that needs to be carefully dusted off before being put back on the shelf. We want to do something with it.
That's what B-Classic stands for: approaching classical music as a living practice, in dialogue with the world we live in today. We connect ten centuries of musical history with the hybrid ways music is created, performed, and experienced now. We create space for artistic development and new creation, bringing classical music into conversation with new makers, other genres, and other disciplines.
In Limburg, we consciously embrace that responsibility. Not every region has a metropolitan context where classical music naturally remains visible. That's why we help create concerts and encounters that grow from the place, its people, and a shared curiosity to listen differently.
We're looking for kindred spirits who want to help shape a classical-music practice that embraces challenge, opens up, and continually reinvents itself.
