Double bill: Valgeir Sigurdsson&Benjamin Abel Meirhaeghe + Lander&Adriaan
B-Classic and C-mine brought together 2 unique musical personalities.Belgian Benjamin Abel Meirhaeghe went in search of a combination between electronic and contemporary classical music with Icelander Valgeir Sigurdsson. They created a song cycle, written entirely in co-creation.
Drummer Lander Gyselinck (STUFF., BeraadGeslagen, LABtrio...) and keyboardist Adriaan Van de Velde (Pomrad, J. Bernard, Mauro Pawlowski...) met in a Brussels basement where they decided to form an alliance. In a melancholic quest for the ultimate, authentic night experience, the adventure of these 2 night knights, Lander & Adriaan and the Biskolom, the imaginary club in which this story takes place, was born.
This production was realized with the support of the Tax Shelter measure of the Belgian federal government, Gallop Tax shelter and Het Nieuwstedelijk.
