Esinam Dogbatse is a Belgian Ghanaian multi instrumentalist, composer and performer who brings together flute, percussion, electronics and voice in a hypnotic musical universe. Drawing on African rhythms, jazz and electronic music, she creates layered soundscapes filled with groove, improvisation and poetry.

What began as a one woman band has grown into a full live band, while retaining the same core: music that moves both body and imagination. Alongside her solo work, ESINAM has collaborated with artists and projects including Témé Tan, Kel Assouf, Marockin’ Brass and Sysmo, and has appeared as a guest musician on releases by Baloji, Ibaaku and Jaguar Jaguar.

For B-Classic, ESINAM joins Elfurenmis in 2026, performing with the resident Elfurenband for an edition featuring political scientist and author Hendrik Vos.
