FOLD ME / BARE is a sensory performance in which fashion, music and movement touch and challenge one another.
B-Classic and Modemuseum Hasselt brought together jewelry and fashion designers Felien Tytgat and Lars Joosten with singer, performer, musician, and theater maker Timo Tembuyser in a fluid scenography of body, textile, and sound.
The performance unfolds around the Form Interlude collection, a collaboration between Tytgat and Joosten. Jewelry fuses with body and clothing. Creations shift from one wearer to another in a flowing choreography. A game of revealing and concealing, where precious metal, fabric, and voice converge.
Form Interlude refers to a moment of transformation in which forms come together, influence one another, and acquire new meaning.
Inspired by the concept of an intermezzo in music or theater—a transitional phase where elements merge and evolve—the collection explores the fluid relationship between clothing and jewelry.
In this collection, jewelry is no longer regarded as an accessory meant to complement clothing. Instead, both elements become mutually dependent and merge into a whole. Through transformation, they influence and reinforce each other, allowing superficial harmony to give way to an integrated design.
By blurring the boundaries between clothing and jewelry, Form Interlude creates space for new interpretations and allows both elements to exist in continuous interplay.
Timo Tembuyser integrates the collection’s silhouettes into a performative dialogue between maker, model, and music.
A choreography of voices and fabrics, where precious metal, movement, and sound form a poetic symbiosis.
