A sunrise we couldn’t refuse…
Last year, we said goodbye.
But sometimes, something knocks on the door again.

Bosland celebrates its twentieth anniversary and has proudly carried the title of National Park for several years now. A reason to celebrate, in a place that has already embraced the sunrise before: the Sahara of Lommel.

At the invitation of Bosland, we join forces with CC Adelberg and the Bosland municipalities for a special musical encounter: Jef Neve on piano, together with two artists from Bosland, drummer Mario Goossens and singer and producer Marijke Maes. For this occasion, they will create new music, performed live at sunrise on the pearly white sands of Lommel.

Pianist Jef Neve is a longstanding presence within B-Classic and moves effortlessly between jazz, classical, pop and improvisation. Mario Goossens, known from Triggerfinger, Hooverphonic and Sloper, grew up in Bosland and built an international career as a musician and producer. Marijke Maes also hails from the heart of Bosland. As Elis Floreen, she creates layered songs and previously appeared in LASWERK and The Cabinet Sessions.

Together, they create a new soundtrack for this morning: three voices, one landscape, in the first light.
