Night Air not only loves to colour outside the lines, it tries to shift the lines altogether. The experimental mini festival within Festival Kortrijk brings national and international artists from different genres together at Transfo Zwevegem. Within the B-WILD development trajectory, which invites classical musicians to deepen their artistic practice and explore the boundaries between genres, Suzan Peeters and Marilou Dejans are creating an innovative performance in which music and visual art merge. Suzan, accordionist and experimental musician, makes her accordion sigh and crack, feeding the instrument with live electronics and transducers until it becomes a breathing body. Marilou, visual artist working with painting and textile collages, gives her textile works a new skin: contact microphones and a buttkicker set the surface trembling, glowing and growling.
