No Kunstennacht without an afterparty!
This year, the collective behind De Nieuwe Zaal (het nieuwstedelijk x Cinema ZED x B-Classic x Kunstplaats Vonk) is throwing the ultimate dance bash in the raw ruins of the Mouttoren, perched on the edge of the Hasselt canal. We’ll keep moving under the watchful eye of ROA’s iconic owl, who guides us through the night with national hero Faisal, rising wolf séa, and Limburg’s legendary triumvirate Flashback Force.

FAISAL
DJ, producer, and radio host—straight outta Lommel. Inspired by his father, who spun records in the '70s, Faisal discovered his own love for music early on. With genre-blurring DJ sets and a wide-ranging sonic palette, he’s made his mark as a producer for artists like Sef and Abel, and through his own project Glintsal, created with his brother-from-another-mother Glints. Together, the duo also hosts the weekly show Abattoir Anvers on Studio Brussel.

SÉA
Radio host Valerie Wynants (known from Studio Brussels’ UNTZ and One World Radio) finds her dancefloor alter ego in séa. Her sets are meticulously curated, blending soulful vocals with a strong disco backbone and basslines you might just fall in love with. Expect crisp 90s-house cuts, sensual and daring ghetto tech vibes, and disco selections from around the world. No need for transport—this Hasselt heroine walks straight to the gig and brings the fire.

FLASHBACK FORCE
Revered by clubbers and festival crowds alike, this legendary trio—Wiebe Loccufier (The Subs), Kristof Claes (Goldfox), and Kim Mathijs (Ed&Kim)—has firmly rooted itself in the Belgian nightlife scene. Together, they bring over 75 years of collective DJ experience to the decks.
A Flashback Force set is a time-traveling dancefloor odyssey through the evolution of electronic music—tailored for both sweaty club corners and roaring festival fields. They’ll expertly close Kunstennacht with the finest classics, squeezing out every last drop of your dance energy.
