Under the banner of Buiten Dienst, B-Classic, Cultuurcentrum De Velinx, MoMeNT Festival and CLTR Tongeren-Borgloon join forces for a new and unique one day festival. On a Sunday, they bring together and open up their artistic worlds through a programme that is rooted in place and in dialogue with its surroundings. Each edition shines a spotlight on a different village within the recently merged municipality of Tongeren-Borgloon. The first edition takes place in Hoepertingen.

On Sunday 20 September, Hoepertingen unfolds for an afternoon as a living trail of music, performance and artistic interventions. Not a fenced off festival site, but a village that gradually reveals itself. The canteen, the castle, the church, the bakery, the village square. Places we think we know, yet which begin to shift once art enters the picture. The festival moves with the place, its rhythm, its residents and its stories. What is already there is not replaced, but reimagined. Everyday spaces are temporarily read differently, used differently and experienced differently.

Expect something other than a traditional festival setup: a journey where art and everyday life merge. A place where friction and encounter are given room to unfold. Where you step inside and, for a moment, are no longer quite sure what is function and what is imagination.
