B-Classic - Linde Carrijn

Linde Carrijn

Linde Carrijn is a Belgian actress, musician, violinist, composer and creator whose work consistently explores the intersection between music and theatre. She started playing the violin at the age of four and graduated with a Master’s degree in Dramatic Arts from KASK Ghent in 2014.

As an actress, she has performed with companies including Compagnie Cecilia and Het Kwartier, while also contributing as a musician and composer to a wide range of theatre projects. Together with Maxim Storms, she forms Brik Tu-Tok, a performative music project that transforms music and theatre into an absurd, poetic and energetic universe. With ZONDERWERK, she creates soundtracks for paintings, graphic novels, architecture, installations and other visual work.

For B-Classic, Linde Carrijn is one of the performers and co-creators of EAT ME, Aïda Gabriëls’ hybrid music theatre production bringing together Baroque music, electronics, performance and installation. Within the performance, Carrijn takes on the role of a performance artist, exploring desire, consumption and the position of art within an overwhelming world.
