B-Classic - Babette Rogiers

Babette Rogiers

Babette Rogiers is a pianist and synthesist with a passion for experimentation and sound exploration. Originally starting on guitar, she quickly realized that the piano aligned better with her musical language. She is currently studying pop piano at KASK and plays in projects such as Dressed Like Boys, Arend Delabie, Home Bodies, FRAU, Desma, and Lunace. Inspired by artists like Nina Simone, Chick Corea, and James Blake, she explores the boundaries between jazz, electronics, and improvisation. In addition to her work as a musician, she teaches, focusing on fostering creativity and helping others find their own musical voice.
