B-Classic - 30.11.2025 Festival BEROERT: mini-ontdekkingsfestival

B-Classic and CC de Bogaard invite you on a three-day musical journey through time and space. Festival BEROERT settles into the centuries-old heart of Sint-Truiden, where sounds make the walls resonate and music takes on a new form. Classical scores are opened up, transformed, recomposed, and fused with other worlds.
Heritage becomes more than a backdrop; it becomes a soundbox in which the past resonates through the present.

On Sunday, Festival BEROERT expands into a musical route through the abbey site of Sint-Truiden. In the crypt, the Emperor’s Hall, the foyer and the Academy Hall, performances and concerts unfold as fragments of a greater whole.

Lulu Obermayer presents a performative interpretation of Ein Deutsches Requiem, in which the idea of farewell and remembrance is given a physical translation.
In the foyer, Laurens Mariën presents his debut album, a meeting of voice and instrument, of experimentation and melody.
Fred Gata, Ekaterina Levental, Bert Peyffers and Babette Rogiers form a thrilling one-off quartet, guiding you on a sensory journey through their universe in the Academy Hall.
In the Emperor’s Hall, you are quite literally seated among the phenomenal string players of BRYGGEN, experiencing their virtuosity as an immersive encounter.
