B-Classic - 29.09.2023 Festival BEROERT: Manchester Collective & Bryggen Bruges Strings

B-classic and CC de Bogaard stir you up with adventurous concerts in Truien's prime heritage.

Lying between centuries-old murals, tripping on classical music and a night of pounding on Beethoven & co: the festival Beroert by B-Classic and CC de Bogaard explores adventurous paths in beautiful, centuries-old locations. But forget hard folding chairs and looking straight ahead: BEROERT takes a different approach.

On Friday 29 September, B-Classic will let the world's best string ensembles sniff and inspire each other for the first time. Manchester Collective and the Belgian Bryggen Bruges Strings will then descend on the mighty Minderbroederskerk with compositions by Richard Strauss, the magnificent Fantasia on a theme by Thomas Tallis by Ralph Vaughan Williams and rewritten classics by Vivaldi, Bach and other masters.

As soon as you put down even one toenail in the church, you will be immersed in music as well as experience. Who knows, you might even end up in a confessional. Admit it: that was a while ago.
