Also in 2026, LASWERK continues to bring together musicians from all corners of the country and across the musical landscape. We kick off the new season on Wednesday 25 March with a beautifully balanced constellation. As always, we unite a unique group of artists for a one-night-only concert where everything is created in the moment. No repeats, no do-overs. Just sound, intuition and encounter.
Isolde Lasoen moves effortlessly between groove and stillness. Known as a drummer for DAAN, Absynthe Minded and many others, she is also a singer, television personality and the frontwoman of her own band. Expect rhythm with story, and presence with depth.
Joachim Saerens is a keyboardist, producer and sonic thinker, with a strong footing in jazz and contemporary music. As Selah Sue’s long-time musical partner and the creative mind behind projects like HRNS and The Ark of Joa, he navigates the space between live performance and electronic processing. Warm, layered and always evolving.
Rozanne Descheemaeker started out on French horn and grew into a musician who spans classical, contemporary and indie pop. She performs with major orchestras and ensembles across Europe and forms half of the dream pop duo Float Fall. Her sound breathes texture, space and sensitivity.
Neil Claes is a singer, guitarist and producer with a sharp musical instinct. He fronts the band Lézard, plays guitar for César Quinn and occasionally appears solo as Neil Claxon. A creator with a love for pop, sound design and songwriting in equal measure.
And of course, Bert Peyffers is your returning host and curator. With a sharp ear, a deep rhythmic sense and a feel for group dynamics, he once again brings the right people together and shapes the collective into a singular musical moment.
