This season, Thomas Vanderveken will once again host five evening sessions with fascinating musicians, which promise to be clever, illuminating, upbeat and engaging. Those who have attended these sessions before know that the guest's life story serves as the inspiration for an adventurous journey to the core of our very existence. And we can all agree that without encounters like these, life would be far less interesting.

To ring in the new year in style, Thomas will be welcoming two celebrated artists: violinists Sylvia Huang and Lorenzo Gatto. Both were laureates of the prestigious Queen Elisabeth Competition – Sylvia in 2019 and Lorenzo in 2009. Both won the audience award and for both artists, the Elisabeth competition marked the start of their international careers. In addition, both are highly regarded soloists that can regularly be heard at B-Classic concerts. As we said before: clever, articulate, expressive, and passionate.
