B-Classic and CC de Bogaard invite you on a three-day musical journey through time and space. Festival BEROERT settles into the centuries-old heart of Sint-Truiden, where sounds make the walls resonate and music takes on a new form. Classical scores are opened up, transformed, recomposed, and fused with other worlds.
Heritage becomes more than a backdrop; it becomes a soundbox in which the past resonates through the present.
On Saturday, the first sounds of BRYGGEN fill the vaulted spaces of the church. This Belgian string ensemble is guided by the breath of Scandinavian folk.
In Tales from the Woods, they explore the delicate space between tradition and renewal, between stillness and movement.
The intimate tones of Grieg and Pärt intertwine with reimagined traditional melodies, carried by a gently pulsing rhythm, like wind whispering through pine needles.
